Important News Updates
Hello everyone and welcome to 2021!!
I hope everyone is doing and staying well. I know week to week can certainly come with new challenges, but know that we are here to help.
Produce remains pretty constant for this time of year. Apples are always a nice choice, both sliced and whole. Also think of using a different color or variety. Citrus is in peak season at the moment. We have oranges, tangerines, and cuties. Try them all. The cara cara orangs will soon be finished, so get them while you can. Kiwi is always a great choice to use. It is a super fruit and with the cold, flu, and now covid season upon us, it makes a wonderful choice. It is also a great breakfast fruit. Leave the skin on, quarter, and serve like an orange wedge. Pears are also a good choice. Grapes too as you can mix the colors. Cantaloupe and honeydews are a nice choice for the season and different. Tomatoes and strawberries are creeping up in price but that should change soon.
Think variety and think FRESH… Think outside the box. mix things up and the kids will love the variety and change. If you have any questions, we are here to help! We appreciate you and all you do to help us keep things going in these difficult times.
